Suitable applications
Tube structures, frames and parts with holes and contours for subsequent assembly. We check section, wall thickness, length, weight and remnant requirements.

GKS-6024T2, GKS-6036T2
Round and square tube cutting with two-chuck workholding. Two configurations cover different stock sizes and workpiece weights.
Two pneumatic chucks hold the tube and transfer it through the working zone. Selection depends on the accepted section, length, weight and supports for both the stock and cut part. GKS-6036T2 has different maximum round and square envelopes: 350 and 250 mm respectively. They cannot be replaced with one general diameter. Round tube, square profile and other sections need separate checks of clamping and rotation settings.
Tube structures, frames and parts with holes and contours for subsequent assembly. We check section, wall thickness, length, weight and remnant requirements.
T2 uses two chucks to hold and rotate the tube, so diameter alone is insufficient for selection. Check deflection, supports and the final cut on long thin-wall stock. For short parts, assess the tube remnant and the finished-part receiving arrangement separately.
| Model | Source power, kW | Round tube, mm | Square tube, mm | Effective cutting length, mm | Workpiece mass, kg | Maximum chuck rotation, rpm |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| GKS-6024T2 | 3 / 4 / 6 | 20–240 | 20–240 | 6500 | 300 | 100 |
| GKS-6036T2 | 3 / 6 | 20–350 | 20–250 | 6500 | 500 | 60 |
Consider the complete cycle: loading, orientation, cutting holes and ends, reclamping and unloading. A two-chuck arrangement has an end remnant whose size depends on the part and process. For heavy or very long profiles, compare T2 with three- and four-chuck series. Send drawings, material, wall thickness, incoming tube length and weight, finished-part length and expected volume for selection.
Manual, semi-automatic or automated loading depending on configuration, stock support and unloading. Bevel cutting is a separately agreed option, not standard on every machine.
Send a drawing or photograph of the part, material, thickness, blank size and required output. This lets us compare configurations against your job, not just their power rating.
Tell us what you would like to clarify. Add drawings, photos or the required configuration reference to your request if available.
