Spatial laser processing of formed parts. A robot follows contours that are difficult to access with a conventional flat-bed machine.

The robot arm carries a fiber laser head, with floor-standing or overhead installation options. The photograph shows the overhead version. A fixture holds the part in a repeatable position while providing access to the required surfaces.

Purpose and distinguishing features

Suitable applications

Trimming and holes in shaped blanks for automotive, appliance and machinery components. Selection starts with a 3D model, material, thickness and edge requirements; every section of the toolpath must be reachable.

LF1800 laser cutting robot

LF1800 trims and cuts openings in already formed 3D parts. Unlike a sheet laser, the process depends on robot paths and dedicated fixtures. Arm radius does not guarantee access to every point: check tool orientation and potential collisions.

Choosing a configuration

An 1800 mm arm radius does not define an unrestricted spherical cutting envelope. Reach depends on head orientation, tooling, fixtures and potential collisions. The ±0.05 mm repeatability figure describes positioning, not a universal edge tolerance.

A 1–4 kW source, robot installation, fixtures, programming, extraction and an interlocked enclosure. This is a cutting system, not welding equipment. Cycle time, accuracy and quality are confirmed on the part with the agreed tooling.

Discuss configuration

Send a drawing or photograph of the part, material, thickness, blank size and required output. This lets us compare configurations against your job, not just their power rating.

Tell us what you would like to clarify. Add drawings, photos or the required configuration reference to your request if available.
