Upper and lower protective windows for cutting and handheld welding. Coating and installation position matter as much as dimensions.

To select a window, we need the head model, window position, diameter and thickness. The packaging code helps distinguish optics with different power ratings.

What it is used for

Protective windows for laser heads

A protective window separates the processing area from the internal optics. Contamination and damage can absorb energy and heat up, so window condition matters for stable head operation. It is a plane-parallel protective element, not a focusing lens.

How to select the right part

Upper and lower windows protect different positions in the optical path. Size, coating and load rating must match the cassette and head. A darkened window calls for contamination and seal checks, not an arbitrary substitution with thicker glass.

How to select the right part

Identify the required position: upper, lower or a welding-head window.

Check diameter, thickness, part number, coating and permitted power. Do not select by appearance alone.

Replace in clean conditions following the manufacturer's instructions, without touching optical surfaces. Inspect the cassette seals at the same time.

Ask about protective windows

Send the machine and head model, photographs of the markings and part, its dimensions and the quantity required. If replacing a faulty assembly, briefly describe the symptoms. Price and lead time on request. We check compatibility and confirm the required version before ordering.
