Specify the head model, power, diameter and focal length F. We also need to know whether you require one element, a lens set or a mounted assembly.

What it is used for

Focusing and collimating lenses

Collimating optics form the beam after it leaves the fibre; focusing optics bring it together in the processing area. Changing the focal length changes the optical system, so an arbitrary same-diameter lens is not a valid replacement. Cleanliness, orientation and the correct set of elements are essential for internal optics.

How to select the right part

The same D and F combination may describe a meniscus, biconvex element or compound pair. Identify the complete optical assembly and part number before ordering. Elements from different sets are not mixed merely because their external dimensions match.

How to select the right part

Provide the optical part number or D and F markings from the packaging, plus a head nameplate photo.

Confirm the function: collimating or focusing. Meniscus, biconvex and aspherical elements are not interchangeable on size alone.

Have a specialist remove internal optics and assess the cause of damage. First check the protective windows and assembly sealing.

Ask about lenses

Send the machine and head model, photographs of the markings and part, its dimensions and the quantity required. If replacing a faulty assembly, briefly describe the symptoms. Price and lead time on request. We check compatibility and confirm the required version before ordering.
