What it is used for

Laser cutting nozzles

The nozzle directs assist gas into the cutting zone. Its geometry, aperture condition and centring affect process stability. A worn edge, deposits or impact marks are reasons to inspect the nozzle and ceramic holder before changing machine settings.

How to select the right part

Single, double and 3D nozzles differ in more than aperture. Match the gas passage, mounting and working distance to the actual head. For repeat replenishment, record a verified part number and process rather than ordering by thread diameter alone.

How to select the right part

Check the outside diameter, height, thread and single- or double-layer construction.

Specify the material, thickness, gas and current nozzle aperture. Aperture selection is not determined by laser power alone.

If a replacement does not restore cut quality, check centring and optical condition according to the head manual.
