Sheet loading and unloading for a laser cutting area. Coordinated manipulators, trolleys and machine movements reduce manual handling of blanks.

A vacuum gripper loads sheets, while a fork unit assists unloading. Exchange trolleys and rails combine with the laser into a coordinated route. The image shows an example installation with a laser; the table below describes the handling system, not the cutting source.

Purpose and distinguishing features

Suitable applications

Repeat sheet cutting where loading and removal take a substantial share of the cycle. We check sheet weight, size, thickness, surface and vacuum-gripping suitability. Perforations, protective film and residual skeletons can affect handling.

GAS automatic sheet handling

GAS is a sheet-handling module, not a standalone laser. Selection starts with the machine interface, sheet size and weight, trolley arrangement and stack separation. Trolley load, individual-sheet load and cutting-table capacity are different limits.

Choosing a configuration

The tabulated single-sheet limit is 2000 kg, not 5 t: 5 t applies to one exchange-trolley level. The reference 280 s figure describes a handling cycle, not completed-part production. The 43 kW rating is handling-system installed power, not laser power. The actual cycle depends on nesting and machine coordination.

Compatibility with the selected laser, trolley layout, grippers, sheet accumulation, guarding and interlocks. Serving several machines requires a separate integration project. We check workshop access, 0.6–0.7 MPa compressed air, electrical supply and recovery after a stop before integration.

Discuss configuration

Send a drawing or photograph of the part, material, thickness, blank size and required output. This lets us compare configurations against your job, not just their power rating.

Tell us what you would like to clarify. Add drawings, photos or the required configuration reference to your request if available.
