The protective enclosure separates processing from the working aisle. Rated values of up to 200 m/min and 3 g describe axis motion dynamics, not cutting speed in every material. Positioning and repeatability are separate characteristics; neither is a universal finished-part tolerance.

Enclosures, panels, brackets and series parts with many holes or short contours. Working areas from 3050 × 1530 to 6030 × 2030 mm suit different purchased sheet formats. GV emphasises motion dynamics within an enclosed sheet machine. This matters for nests containing many separate contours and direction changes. Rated acceleration and traverse speed are not metal cutting speed: compare the execution time of a representative program.

Choosing a configuration

Series production requires the laser to work with sheet supply, part sorting and subsequent bending. Selection records a typical nesting job, shift workload and edge inspection method. This helps choose appropriate power without moving production delays from cutting to another operation.

Format, power, head, gas supply, fume extraction and loading workflow. Permitted sheet weight depends on the variant: 1200, 2300 or 3200 kg as listed in the table. Automated loading and unloading are checked against the actual configuration, not inferred from an illustration.
